Women’s Team Table Tennis Olympics Schedule in 2024

Competition Format

The women’s team table tennis competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will be held from August 1st to 4th, 2024. The competition will be a single-elimination tournament with 16 teams. The top three teams from each of the four preliminary groups will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will be seeded 1-12 based on their performance in the preliminary round. The semifinals and final will be played on a single-elimination basis, with the winners of the semifinals advancing to the gold medal match and the losers competing for the bronze medal.

Qualification

The 16 teams that will compete in the women’s team table tennis competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be determined through a qualification process that will run from 2022 to 2024. The top three teams from each of the four continental championships (Africa, Asia, Europe, and Pan America) will qualify directly for the Olympics. The remaining four teams will qualify through a series of qualification tournaments that will be held in 2024.

Competition Format
